Technology should make your people more capable, not more confused.

For years our work has been simple to describe: amplify human potential through technology. AI does that more powerfully than anything we have seen, but only when someone bothers to understand your business first.

Three decades, one philosophy

We have never been new to sweeping technology change.

NetWise opened its doors in 1996. Since then we have watched the internet move into the office, servers give way to the cloud, smartphones rewrite the workday, and now agentic AI promising to change everything again. Every one of those waves arrived wrapped in hype and fads. Our job has always been the same, to cut through the noise and help clients use technology to actually reach their goals, not chase the trend.

Thirty years in, that is still the whole philosophy. AI just raises the stakes.

The shift

Software used to wait for instructions. Now it can carry the task.

An AI agent is not a chatbot bolted onto your website. It is a small, accountable worker: it reads the email, pulls the data, drafts the quote, files the record and tells a human when something needs judgment. The technology finally got good enough to hand off the work nobody enjoys.

The catch is that agents amplify whatever they are pointed at. Point one at a messy process and you get faster mess. That is why we start with the work, the people and the guardrails, then the tooling.

How we design agentic workflows
We are not enamored with technology. We are enamored with what your people can do once it stops getting in the way.

Where we start

Four places AI earns its keep in a mid-sized business

01

The inbox and the phone

Agents that triage incoming requests, route them to the right person, draft the reply, and open the ticket, so the first response happens in minutes instead of tomorrow morning.

02

Quotes and proposals

Pull pricing, history and terms from the systems you already own, and assemble a first draft a human only has to approve.

03

Documents and knowledge

Ask your own files a question and get a cited answer, whether that is contracts, SOPs, invoices, job files, or the shared drive nobody can navigate.

04

Reporting that writes itself

Numbers gathered, reconciled and summarised on a schedule, with the exceptions flagged for a person to look at.

Why clients stay

We are the un-geeky IT people

Plenty of firms will happily talk to you about their stack. We would rather talk about your margins, your bottlenecks and the person on your team who is drowning.

What you get from us

  • - A conversation about your business before a word about tools
  • - Plain language, always. If we cannot explain it, we do not deploy it
  • - Change managed with the people who have to live with it
  • - Honest answers about what AI will not fix
  • - One team for the AI work and the boring plumbing beneath it

What you will not get

  • - Acronyms used as a substitute for a plan
  • - A pilot that impresses the board and helps no one
  • - Technology chosen because it is exciting to us
  • - A rollout that lands on your staff with no warning
  • - Condescension when something breaks

The foundation

Agents are only as good as the ground they stand on

Identity, data hygiene, backups, endpoints, network, patching. None of it is glamorous and all of it decides whether your AI investment is safe or reckless. We have run this layer for years and we still do, for clients who want AI, and for clients who simply want their week to go smoothly.

  • Preventative maintenance and end-user support
  • Cybersecurity, compliance and risk assessment
  • Backup and disaster recovery
  • Remote and hybrid work enablement
  • Cloud and Microsoft 365 administration

How an engagement starts

No 40-page assessment. A conversation, then something working.

  1. A real conversation

Thirty minutes on what is actually slowing you down. If AI is the wrong answer, we will say so and tell you what we would do instead.

  2. Find the one workflow

We shadow the work, map it, and pick a single high-friction process where an agent can prove itself in weeks, not quarters.

  3. Build it with guardrails

Scoped permissions, human approval where it matters, an audit trail, and a clear answer to “where does our data go?”

  4. Hand it over properly

Your team is trained, the documentation is readable, and we measure whether it made anyone’s day better. Then we pick the next one.

Let’s talk about the work, not the tools.

Tell us the part of your week that never gets easier. We will tell you honestly whether an agent, a fix, or a conversation with your team is the answer.
